 Time Lapse Photography...

In collaboration with Site-Eye we can offer professional time lapse photography for film making using their state of the art digital systems.

These time-lapse film projects involve multiple camera views, some of which can be moved around the job at regular intervals to cover all areas of interest.

Throughout the filming process the equipment is continually maintained and backup of all the images is generated for extra safety.

The final edit can be combined with music, commentary, diagrams, animations and photography to create stunning films for documentary or promotional purposes. See example showreel here.

This time-lapse system consists of intelligent camera units known as "camputers" connected to an on-site server via wireless lan.

The server should have a broadband internet connection through which the system as a whole can be managed, and images can be uploaded to remote machines for processing.

Camputer optics are very high quality digital camera units, controlled by an onboard mini-computer.

The whole system is extremely reliable, some of these units have taken around 1,000,000 pictures without a problem.

Images are stored on the hard disk of each camputer, copied to the server and any two collection devices – one at site and one at Celtic Media’s studio. This ensures that data is not lost in the event of a disc failure.

Camputer systems will automatically restart in the event of an interruption in the AC supply.

These systems work as well at night as day.

Time-lapse intervals can be set from 30sec to 24hr.

Webcam FTP upload. Including username, password, path etc. Upload can be set to be delayed, allowing time to stop the system before an image is uploaded if sensitive events occur.

Time of day filter. The camera can be set to only record images between certain hours of the day.

Initially set at site during work hours – This can be reset remotely at Celtic Media’s Studio.

There are many other configurable options to do with the photographic side (zoom, image quality etc).
